This is a cloud-based (web-accessible) Point of Sale (POS) and order management platform specifically designed for restaurants, bars, coffee shops, cafés, and quick-service venues. It focuses on seamless, error-free generation of two core outputs:

• Customer receipts/bills (printed thermal receipts or digital versions via email, SMS, or QR code).
• Kitchen order receipts/tickets (KOTs) (printed tickets or digital displays via a Kitchen Display System/KDS).

The entire system runs in any modern web browser (on tablets, iPads, PCs, or mobiles) or as a progressive web app. No expensive on-premise servers are required — data syncs in real time to the cloud, with offline mode support for uninterrupted service during internet outages. Orders taken at the table, counter, or via mobile app flow instantly to the kitchen and billing station.

Core Purpose and Workflow

• Order Capture: Staff (servers, baristas, cashiers, barman) enter orders via a responsive web interface. Supports table-side ordering, quick modifiers (eg., “no sugar,” “extra shot,” “allergic to nuts”) and special notes.
• Post-Service Sync:All data (sales, inventory deductions, order history) syncs to the cloud for real-time dashboards accessible from anywhere.
• Customer Receipt Generation: After payment (cash, card, mobile wallet, or split checks), staff instantly use the system to produces an itemized customer receipt with taxes, discounts, and a “thank you” message. Digital receipts can be emailed or texted automatically.
• Instant Kitchen Transmission: The system generates and routes a KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket). Printed KOTs go to thermal printers.
